Technology
- Astro, for static pages without unnecessary JavaScript
- Tailwind CSS
- The network animation is my own canvas code, with no library
- Self-hosted on a VPS with nginx and open-source tooling
Design
- Space Grotesk for headings
- Plus Jakarta Sans for text
- IBM Plex Mono for labels, commands and data
- All three load from this site
- Colours follow the GitHub palette, in a dark and a light theme
Principles
- No trackers and no cookies. Visits are counted anonymously with self-hosted Umami
- Animations stop if your system asks for that, and you can always pause them
- Everything works with the keyboard
